Thanks to the nice folks who make Slatherin Sauce in Charleston, South Carolina, they sent me some of their mild and spicy sauces and I made this wonderfully moist chicken with it last night. The winning combination of flavors of pineapple, honey and natural mesquite flavor makes this incredible.
1/3 cup each sugar and shortening (not the butter flavor one!)
3 teaspoons of salt
2 cups boiling water (cooled to lukewarm)
